The 7th Edition of the International Filmmaker of New York opened up with the Red Carpet Opening Ceremony, which took place on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Kaufman Astoria Studios, moderated by Mira Babamusta and Giorgio Kolaj, organized by Mrika Krasniqi of Nil Production Corporate.
Special thanks to our two talented award-winning photographers Ilir Rizaj and Ivan Morales (Innovation Media New York) for the wonderful photos.
We had Private Red Carpet Media Corner Exclusive Interviews with local and international media, to give exposure to the filmmakers and Special VIP guests who attended IFFNY 2018.

IFFNY hosted a great Round Table Discussion “Social Issues in Motion Pictures” which took place at Paul’s on Times Square on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
The discussion focused on the portrayal of social problems, violence, family, gender equality, gender gap in films. Moderated by Ermira Babamusta and Anil Zogjani, the round table debate advanced the discussion on the portrayal of social issues in films.
The 7th Edition of the International Filmmaker of New York closed with the Awards Gala Ceremony, where the Jury announced the Grand Jury Prizes and Grand Festival Prizes.
