2018 is set to be the biggest year yet!

Dear Filmmakers, the International Filmmaker Festival of New York 2018 will continue with the 7th Edition to be held on 25th to 29th of May 2018 in NYC, the iconic art center of the world. All filmmakers from around the world who have produced feature films, short films and documentary films in the last 3 years are eligible to apply in the International Filmmaker Festival of New York 2018.

The mission of IFFNY Festival is to promote and aid the development of international cinema and film authors. Our goal is to act as the main meeting point where international cinema converges in a spirit of cooperation and cultural exchange through the presentation of the finest and most recent achievements in world cinema.

This 2018 Edition will award 8 (eight) prizes for the best participatory works:

  • Best Actor Award
  • Best Actress Award
  • Production Award
  • Best Photography Award

Call for Entries

The International Filmmaker Festival of New York accepts submissions between January and April for its May 2018 festival. For rules, deadlines, and submission methods, see our Submit your Film page.

The International Filmmaker Festival of New York is a competitive festival with jury prizes in feature, short, and documentary  categories. Additionally, awards are given out by the festival and the audience.
